1-Way Mirror is an autofictional dance performance exploring the bond between transmasculine daughters and their mothers. Through duet choreography, distorted reflections, and shifting visibility, the work traces a “double self”—where memory, inheritance, and identity fold into each other. The mirror becomes both witness and boundary, exposing how we learn to see ourselves through the eyes of those who raised us and how we unlearn that gaze to step into new embodiment.
